Smart Contracts
Authon is powered by Avalanche Smart Contracts which enable a multitude of operations such as storing certificates, authenticating users, and managing transactions and donations. These contracts use public and private key cryptography to secure digital assets, creating a unique encrypted blockchain identity that remains secure and confidential. The data, which is categorized into four main information types — IPFS hash, issuer information, end user details, and metadata — is stored on a decentralized file system ensuring traceability and integrity.
IPFS Storage
This system, akin to BitTorrent, allows for a decentralized and resilient system of file storage and sharing. It provides a cost-effective solution with enhanced redundancy, ensuring data integrity even in case of network failures.
Web3 DApp
